Not much has been happening here lately. Been riding quite a bit except for last week. I was in such a funk I only rode once and didn't run at all. I actually haven't been running lately. For some reason I feel like trying to juggle running and riding is overwhelming. I really wanted to train for a half marathon for sometime in the fall but I just can't dedicate the time to training just yet. I find that the more I focus on running the less I focus on riding and lets face it, if I ever had to choose to run or to ride, running would not win. lol
So here I sit, not running, not riding, just blogging while listening to my fiances cousin talking downstairs with thunder rumbling quietly outside the window. We have a doozie of a storm coming according to the weather network in our area. Lets see if I comes to fruition or not. We seem to be under severe thunderstorm warnings more often than not these days but they don't usually turn into anything in our part of the city.
Riding has been good still. Lily went through a phase where she was trying to buck me off but she seems to be over it finally. She got a few weeks off when our city flooded. We had a refugee staying with us for a week and then we went camping so Lily bear got a well deserved break and it seemed to help her relax.
On an unrelated note, I have this obsession with youtube...and it has helped me realize I freaking love Miranda Lambert's music. What a freaking awesome singer! Her songs strike a very special cord in me. The House That Built Me is such a good freaking song. /endgirlcrush
Anyhoo I have ran out of things to talk about so I'd better call it done.
